Climate Change - Real Utopias

This group of UAL Foundation and Extended Diploma Photography students at GBMet have been exploring ‘Climate Change’, researching the causes of pollution and global warming, considering how we as photographers and inhabitants of earth can make a difference. Inspired by news reports, campaigners such as Greta Thunberg and environmental photographers as Ansel Adams, students are able to depict how they feel and what can make a difference. For some, this inspired a visual interpretation of creating Real Utopias imagining a better world, for others there is an exploration of the issues that are affecting climate change. The online exhibition is a selection of images, whilst the complete set can be viewed in the Foyer of GBMet.
