Rose-tinted is a series of images that seeks to evoke a nostalgic, often idyllic interpretation of the past. I wanted to turn the tables on the ease of which phone filters are used and create something more tangible and thoughtful. my process involves photographing through red voile material which has been stretched onto a wooden frame.

Having spent 20 years in news photography, Paula Davies is now studying for a BA in Photography with the OCA. Based in North Devon, she is currently making work that explores man's environmental impact on our ever changing landscape.
